e get one nairaland guy wet dey always defend policemen. oya make him come explain this case of brutalility in someone's office in an airport! chai. police is truly your 'friend'. another police station even refused to take the statement becos it involved another policeman. this country is finished. I have given up.

They got angrier and said that if soldiers were beating me , would I have the effrontery to talk back at them ?

He stated that the NEMA officials later took him to the airport police station for him to lodge a complaint but that his statement was not taken when the police officers learnt he was brutalised by policemen


The Kwara State Police Public Relations Officer , Mr . Ajayi Okasanmi , said he was not aware of the case and added that if Oluwafemi was truthful in his allegations , he should officially report the alleged assault.”

Compare the amount of police brutality, security harassment and gross abuse of human right abuse and human life lost happening now to that of military era and you'll see the answer you seek.
