At last, Sevilla has ended Real Madrid's 40-match Unbeaten Run in All Competition after coming from behind to beat the Los Blancos 2-1.
It seemed Cristiano Ronaldo would be the protagonist once again but Sergio Ramos' own goal six minutes from time was followed by a dramatic Stevan Jovetic winner. A tactical battle at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan resulted in a cagey, goalless first half but the second period was full of niggle and drama.
But the hero of the night was 27-year-old Stevan Jovetić who scored the winner at stoppage time. He just signed a season-long loan from Inetr Milan on 10 January 2017.

The Last time a side beat Real Madrid was Wolfsburg, last year in the first leg of the Champions League quarter finals.
