Nigerian-born Lookman scores as Everton thrash Man City 4-0

Nigerian-born 19-year-old youngster, Ademola Lookman, had a day in the sun yesterday when he scored the last goal in Everton’s 4-0 annihilation of title-chasing Manchester City at the Goodison Park yesterday.

It was Lookman’s debut for the Toffees, whom he joined from Charlton Athletic this month. It took him just five minutes to register his name in Everton’s scorers’ sheet after coming into the game in the 90th minute.

Everton took the lead just before half time through Romelu Lukaku’s 11th goal of the season.Manchester City had a mountain to climb two minutes after the restart when Mirallas dispatched his effort after he was set up by Ross Barkley.


It became worse for the visitors on 79 minutes when Davies scored his first goal in Everton colours, he started a move before finishing it off beautifully. Lookman put the icing on the cake in added time to hand Pep Guardiola his worst defeat since arriving in England in the summer.
Super Eagles’ star, Kelechi Iheanacho, who was introduced in the 62nd minute, had little or no service to put his name on the scorers’ sheet.At the Old Trafford, Zlatan Ibrahimovic rescued Manchester United after Paul Pogba looked to have handed Liverpool all three points.

Nothing different between Ademola Lookman and Bamidele Alli, he's not a Nigerian and he will not play for Nigeria.

We don't need him either. we have better option in henry onyekuru and samuel kalu. He can never match their technique, pace & dribbling skills.
