I’d met a lot of people who find windows 8 and 10 boring hence stick to Windows 7. It will amaze you to know that the world most popular Microsoft OS Windows 7 is already 8 years old and approaching its dead end. Right now, it’s on a life support and will be pulling off any moment from now.

As of now, Windows 7 only receives major bug fixes and security updates. Microsoft is set to officially end its support to Windows 7 on January 14, 2020. This would mean that no more security updates, product updates or technical support from Microsoft.

Microsoft took to its German website to encourage Windows 7 users to upgrade to the latest OS. According to them,

“Windows 7 slowly becomes old. It does not meet the requirements of today’s modern technology, nor the high security requirements of IT departments. We learned from Windows XP that companies should take early steps to avoid future risks or costs.”

“Companies and users who won’t upgrade from Windows 7 within the next three years are facing enormous dangers.”

I know of so many people that naturally fall in love with windows 7 because of its simplicity of use… If you go to most cyber café, you’ll still find windows 7 installed on their system. The question is why have they refuse to upgrade to the latest OS?

I still use Windows XP on my personal system( PC ), it is the best operating system ever followed by Windows 7.

Although I have Windows10 installed on my laptop am super annoyed with the data mining had to block it with some softwares since they don't easily deactivate in d control panel. But then again win 10 is super fast it takes like 11s for my laptop to load into desktop screen grin

I love windows 7 yet prefered the speed of Windows 10 so what I did was to install the two in dual boot mode. I use anyone depending on what I want to do

I don't believe there is any risk in using windows 7. the End of life extended support end January 14, 2020. Lots of multinationals are still using Windows 7.Security patches are currently still being deployed to Windows 7. Microsoft have stopped adding new features to it.

Look, I agree that Windows 7 is outdated and that it's time for all of us to switch to Windows 10, but the problem is that Windows 10 is incomplete and for all these years it hasn't received any significant fixes. It is a fact. There is a huge number of errors that both an ordinary user and IT specialists encounter. I personally had problems with starting the device, the command line on Windows 10, and I was faced with a huge number of errors. After much manipulation, I managed to log on as batch job and thanks to the information and guides on the site, I was able to solve these problems. So for me Windows 7 is a more stable OS.
