Why does Nairaland love snake stories this much: Snake seen under car bonnet, snake seen in room, python killed near house, see snake eaten by Nairalander etc. Na wao! No rabbits and squirrels seen at all?! Snake obsession would be an understatement.

I posted the same type of snake pic on facebook and some busybody went to tell my mom. She begged me for like two and half hours not to touch snake again

Okay so he doesn't know he shouldn't be playing with pythons like this? That's weird and if his mum wants to pray him out of his stupidity I don't see anything wrong with it

I tire for religious superstition

I swear I always wonder how superstitious people manage to function. Things in their world are much less certain, since there are always spirits hiding behind everything and nothing is what it seems. You don't know if you mother is not the spirit of your great uncle who has set out to destroy your life by planting a scorpion in a warm damp dark corner of your house which is where you might expect to find a scorpion so even though its appearance there seems innocuous it actually isn't. If I had such beliefs I for don mad tey tey or just straight up die of fear.
