It is very disheartening that we the commuters are highly disrespected by the federal government and the construction company that is handling the rehabilitation or repair of the 3rd mainland bridge.

Is it too much for public announcements and road signs to be put out for everyone to see and be aware that there will be work to be done on the 3rd mainland bridge? A lot of avoidable accidents have happened, i was almost involved in one this morning, thetraffic yesterday evening and today: it is obvious that they do not have any regards for us.

Or does anyone have any view that is contrary to this?
Or any addition to this?
Can we petition the government or the construction company involved for the damages and for a proper plan to be put in place to accommodate the commuters so as to prevent future occurrences?

There are no excuses for such high handedness. It just smacks of incompetence. Fashola owes us an apology.

Perhaps it is time for we all to be much more participatory in government since they can't do everything
