How To Install A Downloaded Blogger Template (8 Easy Steps)


1. Login to your Blogger dashboard (home page), on the side tools of the Dashboard, click the Templates link


2. Click the Add Template tab at the top right corner.


3. Click Download Full Template and save in your mobile phone or computer, incase needed later or you might want to use that template if you don't like the downloaded customised template.


4. Now unzip the file of the template downloaded from another source (it won't work unzipped).


5. On the Add Template page, click on Choose File button.


6. Go back to where you saved the unzipped file and double click on the on that ends with .xml


7. Now just click Upload button.


Note: That if you have widgets on your blog, you will get a warning message which will ask you if you want to keep or Delete them. If you have done some editing before and you want to keep them, click the Keep option, or if you do not want them, click the Delete option button.


After the upload has been Successfully Completed, you will get a message alert at the top of the page that Your Changes Have Been Saved.


8. Last on the list, Click on the View button to see the changes.

You may also have to move or remove some page elements to get the proper look of the template.


There are some free blogger template which you download online that may be incompatible with the version of Blogger. If you fall into this category, you will have to find a different template to download and Add, or find someone who is an expert in editing XML codes. Now this is why I told to to download the former template you used before., you can also reinstall that templates which you backed up.
