there are three sets,whoever wins 2 has won,but if they play 1-1 there must be a 3rd set,so I bet on the player 1.5 handicap meaning if he loses 2-0 I lost,but if he loses 2-1 or wins 2-0 I won,get it??

That one is a different handicap,each set consists of 10 games,hence 6-4 6-3 6-0 etc,if it gets to 5-5 they play till one player gets to 7 hence 7-5 7-6,since there are 3 sets,if you give a player 1.5 handicap sets,so long as he wins 1 set you have won.
