Nigeria my country is like a 'danfo' bus. So many drivers use it and handover to a successor at four to eight years interval.
GEJ came in and drove this bus for about six years. He used this bus recklessly until the bus couldn't move again. He spoilt the four tyres, the bolt-joints, cambers and all motion-related components went bad prior to his leaving. However, one thing was certain, albeit this bus couldn't move, people were still able to Kickstart the vehicle engine; use the vehicle air conditioner; charge phones; relax inside et al.
In 2015, Buhari came into limelight. He condemned his predecessor for destroying our 'danfo', for deteriorating its mobile components that should give us the motion we need to proceed. In fact there was a petulant miff on people wasting our resources. Why should people continue to use the AC and charge their phones inside this 'danfo'? For what? "Don't you know we are running out of gas"
Instead of the present administration to replace the four tyres and repair all motion-related components, they removed the complete engine of our 'danfo' to avert waste of this so-called gas. Now Nigerians can no longer start the bus to charge phones, relax and enjoy the vehicle AC. Everybody is stranded at the same time.
At this point, I have to ask this question: "Oga Presido, when will you fix our 'danfo' for us?"
We were once managing this bus before you came in. The earlier you know it, the better. We are tired of your fallacy of tu quoque.
