You are putting both yourself and potential buyers under undue stress, and it may cost you a sale. Your ware is a high-end gadget and who ever can afford to buy it can decide to just go to the offer-up thread and buy from there, if you make your conditions unduly stringent.

One major reason people understandably hesitate to drop their contact number or email on Nairaland is to avoid a simple Google search leading straight to them. The case of Obinwanne Invictus is a livid reminder. His email was traced straight to Nairaland.

But easy ways to circumvent this is by either writing your number as part of your personal text or signature inside your NL account, or writing your it on threads in unconventional ways, e.g. 0---9.0...5#5..6..5... or zero nine zero five five, etc.
