I got an LG home theater from a regular electronics shop two years ago. I spent nearly an hour testing every speaker it had to make sure there were no stories. Less than a week, the console didn't come on. It was only normal I returned it since I 'just bought it'. Guess what? The semi-literate guy who sold the electronics to me pointed to a very tiny part of the receipt that read 'goods sold in good condition cannot be returned'. I didn't need a prophet to know I'd lose on all fronts in a legal battle.

I diplomatically renegotiated, added money to purchase a new one and it has never developed a fault ever since.

Whether or not we use electronics after buying them isn't the point. Rather, its condition at the time of buying. Electrical appliances are unpredictable. If I was selling, I'd be brutally honest as possible about the condition of what it is I am selling. If it was in a perfect condition prior to selling and someone returns it afterward, I just might not take it back because I have no idea what the person did to it. The buyer might not be honest.

I will rather get a new one at Fouani. But it's her price, she has a right to price her goods how she deems fit.

But many seller's let's about 90%are not honest to tell u the truth the exact condition of the electronics u are buying once is tested ok and u left the venue u are on ur own be it 1hr ago, I remember the time I bought 32" television and was ok and after about 4 days it develops screen fault, when I return to them they refuse to change it even when u wanted to add money for another one they refused so I ended up spending about 11k to fix it and is still own over a year now
