after coveying it to your place did u allow it to settle for about 2hours before plugging into light? Also what's the voltage of your light, have tried using STEP UP stabilizer with it?. also low oil or gas can make it not work. when plug is the compressor hot to the condenser line if it does not hot it means the compressor is bad or the coil in the compressor is bad. Also next time use upto and hour to test what you are buying

I emphasized that it should be working before pickup. It worked just before pickup;it was still a bit chill after 2hrs 30mins. However,when i started using it athome,it wasnt so. The is good power supply in my area. I was using a small.LG fridge before and everything was always solid that was why i decided to get a fridge/freezer. So,i wont keep going to work hungry even if i microwave for ages. I guess that was better because my food keeps getting spoilt

Do you use a stabilizer with it?
I use a bruhm freezer too and I can say it's not a very good product but the stabilizer at least helps it work well to a good extent.
just plug with stabilizer or fill the gas like they said and see what happens.
