i know how nairaland works na, im used to them, but yet im sure some few reasonable ones will have things to say

meanwhile, hope your phone is upto 1gig ram and above? Android is sweet but anything less 1gig ram will give u a frustrating experience. If it's less than 1gig ram then consider running few apps.

Thanks , someone told me antivirus for androids are not always good

Antivirus re good because it necessary you scan ur phone once in a while since u availably ve access to download without restriction on android Os device. I bliv u can't stick to download from only google store alone and u will be downloading files from other sources, its a good idea u ve antivirus installed on ur phone to scrutinize every files on ur mobile.
I dont knw if u will root/tweak ur fone in d future, if u must root ur fone, install anti virus, if u dont root ur fone and prefer to only download needed apps from google play store, dont download anti virus and use the phone at your own risk.

Don't forget Camscanner (to scan documents) , MS-WORD app, Oxford Dictionary (it has the option of pronouncing words),Acro Bible (for a Christian), Superbackup (to periodically back up your sms, contacts, apps, calllogs, etc), VLC (for videos)
