We're displeased about the current theft being committed by a financial institution in Nigeria. A bank with limited bank branches across Nigeria.
A Corp member earns a total of 19800 monthly from the federal government after #200 Bank charges has been deducted from a supposedly #20000 monthly allowance.
All batch B Corp members were forced to compulsorily open an account with access bank at the beginning of our service year at various orientation camps in Nigeria. Even those who already had an account with access bank were forced to open a new one for the course of their Nysc monthly allowance.
At the orientation camp, a total of #1300 was deducted from every Corp members account. Shortly after, #50 was also deducted by the same bank.
Just after approximately two months with access bank, a new Message goes thus to all core members
'Dear Customer, your card issuance/annual maintenance fee of N1,100 will be spread over 4 months. Pls note a discounted monthly N105 processing fee also applies' This is an act of professional and institutional misconduct. A day light robbery. This amount of money is humongous considering the number of Corp members who registered with the bank across Nigeria. A financial institution has become a means for exploitation. They say we're youths, that we are the future. But How
Where the riches connive and steal from the masses??
No wonder, we now live in a world where banks destroy the economy. Today, Access Bank in particular has become economic vampire. They're economic marauder. Since we were forcefully registered with access bank in November 2016, we have no financial freedom, the services we receive from access bank includes but not limited to financial authoritarianism, financial exclusivity, exploitation, opacity, theft, nepotism dishonesty, financial uncertainty, and endemic corruption.
ACCESS BANK as a financial institution lacks technical proficiency and ethical sensibility.
To all Corp members who are inflicted by this type of embezzlement, Smartness is when you completely get rid of ACCESS BANK immediately after your Nysc service year.
My fellow Corp members, warn your families, relatives, friends and others to never get close to ACCESS BANK. Whoever or whatever institution has no interest of the masses at heart, we will also ignore them and throw them in the dungeon.
They call it Access Bank, We call it Deprivation Bank.
