Where there is no vision, there is no tangible reason for living. But a true vision comes only from God. Yet, God does not repose the destiny of a nation or state in the hands of anybody. He gives such responsibility ONLY to those who can deliver. As a man of integrity and exquisite drive, Dr Emmanuel EWETA Uduaghan was prepared by God for a special assignment in Delta State. Upon his assumption of office as Executive Governor on May 29, 2007, the state never remain the same.
Yet, what were those qualities that propelled Governor Uduaghan as a compass of hope for 25yr-old-oil-producing and leading Niger Delta state? One is humility. Governor Uduaghan is humble to a fault. Humble to treat everybody as equal even when he is in the drivers seat. To demonstrate his avowed sense of humility, Dr Uduaghan down-to-earth with the people. During festivities, he had on occasions personally driven himself to visit his personal staff in their respective homes. Dr Uduaghan was committed; committed to a worthy cause.
