Lots of people believe that the idea of studying abroad implies that you would need to be a millionaire or have a really huge bank account or that you would need to loss your right arm in securing admission, visa and paying your tuition fees. With the present economic crisis in Nigeria, studying abroad is consider for the rich and wealthy Nigerians. This might not be so, we have run a lot of research and found out that anyone can practically study at a reputable institution abroad (atleast within Africa) with a little as N300k or less.

There are factors to consider; what course do I want to study, at what program level and what is my tuition fees budget range for studies. Answering this questions can help you realize your study plans abroad.

In this case I will be highlighting South African - because as you know, they have the top ranking universities in Africa till date. Plus their schools are affordable and works well for lots of Nigerians.

N300,000 can secure your Admission at a Government University in South Africa to do an online program for either you short course, diploma, degree or undergraduate and event your masters or postgraduate studies. The best thing about online or distance learning program is that it fits into your lifestyle so you don't have to leave Nigeria or work or your present preoccupations here.

Plus, with an online or distance learning program, you get to not worry about paying for flight ticket, which cost from N150,000 or accommodation which is from N15k monthly plus feeding and transport to school everyday.

There are other factors to consider when choosing the right type of admission for you - because some courses do not offer online program so it is always advisable to seek the assistance of an educational consultant who knows their business or you do personal research on what you need before proceeding with your admission processing.
