Once more, a new male fertility check device known as Yo is here again. The Yo device could make testing of semen in male less less stressful. the Yo device simply turns a user’s smartphone camera into a microscope that will be able and capable to zoom in clearly on a male user semen sample and visually determine how many sperm cells exist and are moving actually moving in the semen sample, (i.e the motile sperm concentration). So the higher the concentration of moving sperm cells in the semen sample, the better chances a male has of fertilizing an egg in the female. However, this is not the first time in history that we are seeing a company turning a normal smartphone camera into a microscope, but indeed this is one of the first time in history that we are seeing it been applied for male fertility as a whole.

Once the semen sample is obtain, it then requires the user to drop some of the semen sample on a slide that then slips right into the connected camera device of the Yo.
