By Ayo Aderibigbe
The Police in Lagos has arrested two more suspects involved in the kidnap of students from the Turkish International school in Ogun State.
Irohinoodua was informed that the intelligence unit of the police arrested the criminals as they were coming out of the creek to board a boat heading towards the Niger-Delta.
Earlier the Nigerian Police Force spokesperson, Donald Awunah had said that the police recovered a cash sum of N1.2m from one of the suspects, Bekewei Agbojule of Ijaw extraction.
The other suspects arrested are Philip Kakadu, a militant leader, Romeo Council and Totki Okada. All of them are of Ijaw nationality in the Niger-Delta.

The Assistant Inspector General, (AIG) Zone 2, Lagos led the arrest of the gang. He had said “In the course of investigation into the kidnap, three suspects namely Kakadu, Council and Okoda who lived in the fishermen’s community behind the school and provided information about the victims to his gang, were trailed and arrested at different locations in Delta, Ogun and Lagos states for the criminal roles they played in the crime.”
Five pupils and three teachers of the Turkish International Colleges were adopted on January 13, 2017 at Isheri in Ogun State. They spent close to a week in captivity before they were released after a huge ransom was paid by the parents of the kids.
