Nigeria Is Sitting On A Gun-powder!!! by Veritasafrique: 10:50pm On Jan 31, 2017
We have been focusing our attention on Congo. Let us have a little look on Nigeria then we continue with Congo. This is only to show that Congo is not alone on that journey in which she is being manipulated from outside. It is a terrible experience of all African countries. Nigerian Tribune online article of February 28, 2016 has this caption, “Foreigners are in-charge of Critical Sector of our Economy” – Lasun.
Honorable Sulemain Lasun, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives while interacting with the representatives of the Obafemi Awolowo University Alumni Association who paid him a courtesy visit in his office said that no country can develop if its people are not allowed to be in control of the economic sector. In his own words, “…Nigerians are not in control of the economic sector. We are in servitude permanently. We claim to have oil but we are not in control.”
Nigerians have to meditate on what is happening in Congo, relate it to the situation in Ghana, not leaving out the problem in South Africa as regards not being in control of the country’s natural resources. These countries and more others highly endowed should have been the economic giants of Africa but unfortunately, they are not in control of their resources. They remain always Least Developed Countries or the at best, Developing Countries. What else is the plain truth about Africa? Which way Africa? Africans have to decide or they may continue to keep quiet waiting for the Messiah from above. Re: Nigeria Is Sitting On A Gun-powder!!! by Veritasafrique: 1:32pm On Feb 01, 2017
There is no leadership in Nigeria. What we have is people who come together to make money in the name of political party and in the name of government. They use religious or ethnic bigotry to deceive the citizens.
Re: Nigeria Is Sitting On A Gun-powder!!! by Veritasafrique: 1:34pm On Feb 01, 2017
We want to create awareness in Africa at large and end this servitude in Africa. We shall never think of any meaningful change in Nigeria or any state in Africa with this trend of people in government.

Africans should rise up and defend their continent. Nigerians should know that Nigeria belongs to Nigerians and not to corrupt politicians.

The citizens should be enlightened if not so the corrupt politicians will continue to take advantage of the ignorant citizens.

Re: Nigeria Is Sitting On A Gun-powder!!! by Veritasafrique: 2:14pm On Feb 01, 2017
Only two things work out in Nigeria, one is foreigners who take away our natural resources since they are in control, two is the question of politicians who carry the rest of the wealth that remain and put it into their pockets.
Re: Nigeria Is Sitting On A Gun-powder!!! by Veritasafrique: 2:20pm On Feb 01, 2017
Nigeria is made up of about 180 million people. About five thousand politicians who always hijack the government should not intimidate the citizens. The citizens are more than the politicians. The only thing is that the citizens are not organised. Join this blog and learn what you are going to do so as to get back what is yours.
Re: Nigeria Is Sitting On A Gun-powder!!! by Veritasafrique: 2:24pm On Feb 01, 2017
We beckon on Nigerians to rise. Nigeria is sitting on a gun powder. We have no future. Our children have no future. They treat us as if we are nobody. But we are citizens. This blog is ready to help Nigerians to claim back their rights as citizens.
Re: Nigeria Is Sitting On A Gun-powder!!! by Veritasafrique: 2:30pm On Feb 01, 2017
We plead on Nigerians to join us for the good of the country. Let us stop lamenting. There is a way out. It is very simple to change the situation in Nigeria. The politicians tell us lies and we suffer. Let us counter such lies. He who is with us is stronger than he who is with them. More than hundred and seventy million people should not be suffering untold hardships just because of few thousand politicians who use the citizens as objects and not fellow subjects.
Re: Nigeria Is Sitting On A Gun-powder!!! by Veritasafrique: 2:33pm On Feb 01, 2017
For instance, what is the population of Edo State? How many senators or House of Reps or state house members come from Edo. Those politicians are less than 0.1 percent of the population of Edo State. But this minimal number of people control the whole citizens and make them suffer. They take what belongs to these citizens and they falsely make the citizens believe that the state belongs to the politicians.
Re: Nigeria Is Sitting On A Gun-powder!!! by Veritasafrique: 2:35pm On Feb 01, 2017
We want to open the eyes of the people. Once the citizens know their right and know what to do, these corrupt politicians will automatically cease to cheat and steal the public money.
Re: Nigeria Is Sitting On A Gun-powder!!! by Veritasafrique: 2:37pm On Feb 01, 2017

Without restructuring the socio-political and economic system in Nigeria, we are sitting on a gun powder. Any person who is against restructuring the present rotten socio-political and economic system in Nigeria is the greatest enemy of the country because it pleases him or her to see the citizens suffer.

A Structural Design for Poverty!
The situation in Africa is an outcome of a structural design to perpetuate poverty in the continent. Our intention is not to lay blames. It solves nothing. But the truth ought to be known and said. If we do not know why Africa is in this condition today, we may not come out of it.
The social-political woes that have become synonymous with the African continent today have been planted long ago by the colonial masters. They are like landmines put in place many years ago. Today Africans are marching on them and such landmines are causing serious havoc in every amalgam in Africa. It is a structural design for perpetual poverty.
The worst of these landmines is the principle of divide and rule! In almost all African amalgams today, we have one problem or the other. In Congo Kinshasa, the rebels are always causing havoc. Why cannot Congolese come together and solve their problem? Today the neo-colonialists are putting fuel on the fire the colonial masters have put on the ground. They supply the rebels with arms and the war continues. The neo-colonialists take advantage of the confusion and take away all the natural resources. In Nigeria, it is a free fight for all, among the ethnic groups. The neo-colonialists support one ethnic group against the other and create confusion and by so doing, rob the amalgam of its natural resources. All African amalgams are like these two already mentioned. Do we have any hope? The only out of this mess is to undo what the colonial masters have done. This is the issue of restructuring the oppressive socio-political and economic system that is on the ground now in all African states.

The Five Pillars that make a Nation!!!
These are the five pillars on which a strong nation is built. The strength of any nation and the ability of such a nation to develop fast depend on the strength of these pillars:
1.Willingness to be together (Free choice of all parties)
2.The Nature of being together (How)
3.National Ideology (National Common Goal and how to reach the goal)
4.National Constitution (National Guide)
5.The Rule of Law (The National watchdog)

These five pillars are very evident in all nations outside Africa. In all these nations, there is the existence of the rule of law. One may commit an offence but he or she must be answerable before the law. Nobody is above the law, starting from the president. The law respects nobody outside Africa. What does it look like in Africa?
It is not a news that these five pillars do not exist in any of the African countries today. In Africa, there is nothing like the rule of law. That is why all these confusions. The other pillars must be in place before one can talk of the rule of law which is the last pillar and the watchdog. We do not have the rule of law in Africa but if you think we do, why must the Gambian president utter such statements after losing election? Why must the Nigerian president flout the court of law at will? Why must the South African president rule the country with his whims and caprices? It is unfortunate. But there is still hope.
We need to go back to the drawing board. We have our houses on the sand. It is obligatory for us to establish the foundation. There is no other way out of this mess other than coming together for dialogue in order to commence a socio-political restructuring of each African country (amalgam). Any person within or outside Africa, who is against this process of socio-political restructuring of African countries is the greatest enemy of Africa. In a very short time we lay down the program for this process as we shall explain the pillars one after another and how we are to achieve our goal of making Africa great!!! Long live Africa!!!

“Hoping against Hope”
In Europe, America and other developed parts of the world, people do not take anything for granted. Every effort is being made every second to surmount problems encountered every second in the society.
On the contrary, in Africa, most of the people keep quiet amidst the gross problems facing the continent. Such people are of the hope that someday it will be over. This is hoping against hope. To think that the devastating problems crushing African countries today will just be over by themselves is a mere day dreaming. It is such a mere wish. If wishes were horses, beggars would ride!!! It is like a person who is very hungry. He has nothing to eat. In any case, he hopes that the hunger will come to pass after some time.
Africans who do not think of how to come out of this mess in the continent but have the hope that in the future Africa will be free from her present difficulties are just day dreaming. Ex nihilo nihil fit – nothing comes out of nothing! If we do not start today to plan how to overcome these socio-political problems and we deceive ourselves that tomorrow they will over, we may be planning to reap where we have not sown.
Africans arise!!! Wake up from your slumber!!! Nobody will do this for you if not yourselves!!! African intellectuals you are challenged to start thinking!!! Let us not hope against hope!!! We are the ones to correct these anomalies in the continent!!! Let Africans come together in their different countries and begin to dialogue. This is the only way!!! Let Africans in Diaspora unite and start thinking and planning how to rescue the continent from collapse!!! Our people have suffered enough!!! Enough Africans have died in the sea!!! Let us unite and rescue our people!!! Mama Africa is crying for her abandoned children, let African intellectuals hearken to her voice and save African children perishing every day in anguish!!!
Let us overcome all ethnic and tribal sentiments!!! These are the landmines put in place by the colonial masters for our destruction and for their own good. Let us come together through dialogue, through national conference, through socio-political restructuring. If we do not do all these things that are very necessary and we sit down hoping that Africa will be better tomorrow, we are just hoping against hope!!! God has already blessed Africa with human and natural resources!!!
This blog will do all it can to lead Africans in this all-important journey towards self-realization. Shalom on Africa!!!

Until Africans ask why!!!
We have seen the uncertainty of things in Africa. The most painful thing is that all these unfortunate incidents keep on repeating themselves. Each set of politicians for instance comes and presents its own lies and at the expiration of its time it leaves the stage. Another group comes with another set of lies.
We have not asked ourselves why there is endemic corruption in African countries. Nobody has seriously thought over why Africa is always backwards. Do we care to ask ourselves why there is always tribal or ethnic conflicts in Africa? Does it mean that in other developed parts of the world, that they do not have ethnic groups? Africans have not got time to ask why do African politicians team with the neo-colonialists to render Africa poor! Why do African rulers impoverish their different amalgams only to dump their stolen money in banks outside Africa? Why do these banks accept this stolen money knowing fully well the situation of things in Africa?
There are thousands of questions that Africans have not asked. We have not asked these questions because we do not want to go to the root of the problem. Some African rulers as part of their principle of hide and seek jump into solving some of the existing problems but only to create more problems. They have not asked why the problems. Taking Nigeria for instance, it was alleged that a big chunk of the money budgeted for fighting Boko Haram was shared by those in charge. It is a clear fact that the money mapped out for constructing most of the roads were being shared by those entrusted with trust to execute such a duty. Corruption grows deep in every sector in Nigeria. Can’t Nigerians begin to ask why.
Until we ask why, everything we are doing to curb corruption or solve the problems facing Africa may be a waste. The first thing is to ask why this problem? It is by asking this question that one can get the real cause and from the cause, a solution will eventually emerge.
In a little contribution to this why, this blog has it to say that the tap root of our problems lies on the fact that we are not united. We are not united since the colonial masters have arranged us the way we are now. In each country in Africa, the different ethnic groups do not agree with one another. They see themselves as enemies. This was the seed of discord planted in them by the colonial masters. Nobody cares for the amalgam. Each group of politicians takes advantage of this situation and seizes power just to steal and deceive the people. There is corruption because nobody cares. There is ethnic cleansing as it is going on in Southern Kaduna because the citizens see themselves as enemies. Each ethnic group is concerned about its own affairs and the country is abandoned to dilapidate. Politicians utilize this confused state of affairs very well because it favours them to steal without anyone asking question. The way out of the tunnel is the coming together respectively of each African country. Each country must come together to discuss issues concerning the state.

Public Enemy Number One!!!
It is Max Romeo in this track “Public enemy number one” who says, Public enemy number one, killing God’s children one by one. Casting affliction on the innocent man. For it is easier for a carmel to go through the eye of a needle than for wickedness to enter the kingdom of God”
How many people are being killed in Nigeria from the time of the civil war till today. It has become an issue of killing God’s children one by one. Now it is at Kaduna. Before it was at Benue, Jos, Enugu, and goes around that way killing God’s children one by one. The situation of Nigeria is that of casting affliction on the innocent man.
All these evils happen not just because people want to kill others. It is simply because Nigeria just like any other African state is a divided country. Each day, ethnic hatred mounts high. Each second ethnic sentiments grow higher. Rather than coming together to talk and end the bloodshed, those who profit from the confusion for their selfish gain want the mess to continue. This is an act of wickedness at the highest level!!!
They represent the public enemy number one in this country. Those who do not want the different ethnic groups that make up this nation to come together and talk like brothers are the public enemy number one of this country. They do not know what people suffer. They do not care about the affliction they cast on their fellow citizens who pass through hell. They are interested in their personal agenda and not in the welfare of this country. They make up the public enemy number one of this country. They tell a lot lies for their personal gains. They keep on promising the innocent citizens a better tomorrow but there is nothing on the ground. They are the public enemy of this county. The citizens must arise against this. No more lies! This blog will in few days from today begin a mental revolution on how to liberate this country and indeed African countries in general from those that have been keeping the people in bondage!
Re: Nigeria Is Sitting On A Gun-powder!!! by Veritasafrique: 5:40pm On Feb 01, 2017
Looking critically at the problem in Africa, it becomes clear that the socio-political and economic problems in different African countries are man-made. Poverty in Africa is man-made. Socio-ethnic violence in in African countries is man-made. There are people out there manipulating these situations using Africans to achieve their goal. Some Africans believe that we are made this way. Some wrongly think that we are inferior. Others mistakenly take it that nothing good can come from Africa as regards development. All these are misconceptions. The problem in Africa is man-made.
The good news is that, it will not take Africans a long time to come out of these problems if they come together to look at these critical issues as they are. The first thing is to know that we have a problem. The next is to be ready to face the problem. Finally, mapping out strategies to solve these problems. This blog dedicates its time to achieving this, by indicating the way out of the complex African problem. In a due time not quite long, we shall indicate a road map towards African freedom and it will invite Africans to the Great Debate in this regard.
We are going to focus our torchlight on Congo to show that African problem is man-made. If Africans cannot liberate Congo and other African countries, it is the most unfortunate thing on earth. Let us not forget the track of Bob Marley on Zimbabwe then, calling Africans to liberate Zimbabwe. Africans should liberate Africa. Africa belongs to all Africans.
