 The Speaker of Nigeria’s House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has condemned the activities of economic saboteurs destroying oil producing communities in the Niger Delta. Dogara spoke through the Deputy Minority Leader, Onyema Chukwuka, while flagging off a probe into the death of fourteen persons in a fire caused by an oil spill. The lawmakers were angry that the Managing Director of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency was absent at the hearing.
