dont get me wrong. . . . . .  i dont hate ruggedman. . . . . .but his silence is deafening. I thought he would respond. Do you not understand that by staying silent he loses credibility? i bought Ruggeds first two albums ( no downloads) in fact when he launched his album in London in late 2007 i bought 5 copies on the day at the Ntyce niteclub in woolwich.

When rugged first came out,  I tripped. He was a breath of fresh air. Combining pidgin and english in way that sounded really cool, dissing established artists e.t.c. Lets face it, that why he became so popular.

So how do you think I feel when Mode can get away scott free after releasing 'deathblow'? Even Mode had to dedicate a rhyme to Ghetto P on 'Badman' even though he said he wouldnt.

U guys need to speak to Rugged so he know whats up. . . . . how can he want to keep his fans if he doesnt respect their wishes?

I know this thread is meant to promote peace, but sadly though as we have found out, you cant have peace without war. By the way I'm in the Modo divide so take my point of vierw accordingly.

How did the Ruggedman feud come about?

Miscommunication. He just allowed people around him to force him to do some things and say a whole lot of stuff. They made stuff up and said this is what Modenine said and I don't hang out with these people, I was living in [b]Abuja then. We went to Germany together but when I came back I heard he was cooking a diss track for me. I saw him and asked ‘dude, why now?' He said he didn't do it and I don't think it came out but series of [/b]events I can't even recount happened last year and I was just like ‘this is enough man, it's time for retaliation.'

A lot of people think it had been on for a while but even "Talking to You" wasn't for him, I was just rhyming. Is he the only one that's Baba? We have 2baba, Soul E Baba, my own name is Babatunde. It was just a track that I wrote; I met Banky and he was like he had a song with a hook and he sent it to me via the Internet for me to voice. I just took two verses from my old tracks and merged them, and Banky liked it. Before I knew it, people who thought they knew everything just came and started putting things together. When I do my thing, if I don't call your name, that means I'm not talking to you.

And "Death Blow Part 1"?

It was for him of course; I'd made up my mind that I was going to kill him but you see, I still didn't call his name but it was clearly for him. I was actually thinking there was going to be a reply so I wrote four good backup tracks for that but since there was none, I just moved ahead. What made me write "Death Blow" wasn't "Bangin'" as people thought, it was because of an interview he did in Punch newspaper; I felt that was so demeaning and under the belt.

With this new Album, I'm on Mars; I'm not in Nigeria so I don't see any Nigerian artist. On some tracks I talked about some of the things that went down but I wasn't talking to any artist.
