So many people deliberately refuse to acknowledge God, they respect the devil and his antiques because of the fear of the evil he can do to them. They fail to realize that devil is unable to do anything to a child of God except if God permits it.

As it is, devil is unable to act independently on a child of God without the knowledge of God. Sometimes, God permits the devil to tempt His child to test him to see if he would deny Him, backslide and follow the devil.


Take a look at Job in the bible, look at Christ and others that were tempted by the devil. God permitted the devil to tempt them. Look at all the bad things that happened to Job (he lost all his children in one day, lost his business empire and properties in one day). The bible described Job as a blameless man who pleased God in all his doings. And yet God permitted all these to happen to him.

You must know that devil is always angry at the privileges that God has given us as His children; he sought permission from God to make bad things happen to Job and see if Job would not curse God. Job knowing the tricks of the devil did not submit himself to the will of the devil but to the will of the Almighty God.

So God is aware of all things happening to you and He is watching you. But we humans are so foolish in our thinking, we prefer to believe the devil rather than take the words of God and act upon them.
Amos 3:5 says, “When the ram’s horn blows a warning, shouldn’t the people be alarmed? Does disaster come to a city unless the Lord has planned?

So God is aware of whatever is happening to you, He knows what will happen and when it will happen. However He reveals it to some of His prophets so that they can warn the people beforehand. He used several prophets in the bible like Noah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Amos, Joel to warn the people of impending dangers, just like I am saying to you today; God is angry about your continuous sins, He is angry with the country and the church for many sins committed by the people and the leaders.

“Indeed, the Sovereign Lord never does anything until He reveals His plan to His servants the prophets. The lion has roared- so who isn’t frightened? The Sovereign Lord has spoken- so can refuse to proclaim His message?” Amos 3:7-8

This is the message from God: “My people have forgotten how to do right, says the Lord. “Their fortresses (bank accounts) are filled with wealth taken by theft and violence (wealth gotten through stealing, corruption, money-rituals, armed robbery etc) Amos 3:10

His punishment for these murderous sinners is in Amos 3:11-12C, “Therefore,” says the Sovereign Lord, “an enemy is coming! He will surround them and shatter their defenses. Then He will plunder all their fortresses” (God is sending disaster upon all ill-gotten monies, whether in the bank or invested in businesses and properties)


No matter how much you try to make the money clean through laundering and investment, God will trace all ill-gotten money and those who tries to get it or save it will be able to get maybe just a percentage of the ill-gotten wealth by the time God finish dealing with them.

“A shepherd who tries to rescue a sheep from a lion’s mouth will recover only two legs or a piece of an ear (that should amount to just a percentage or two of the entire sheep) so it will be for the Israelites in Samaria lying on luxurious beds, and for the people of Damascus reclining on couches.”
