I'm planning to get an SUV (tokunbo) very soon, and I need one or two contributions to make my final decision.

Having done my research about different SUVs, I narrowed my options down to Ford Edge 2007 and Mazda CX-7 2007. My choice of those options was down to budget, beauty, several online expert reviews, and other factors. I decide not to go with the usual "buy a Toyota or a Honda" cliche that Nigerians would never stop promoting. (So, please don't derail this thread with some Toyota or Honda talk).

Now, if you or someone close to you has used either a Mazda CX-7 or a Ford Edge, kindly share your experience with the vehicle. Please don't bother commenting if all you know about the cars are just hearsay. Only comments based on first-hand experience with the vehicles are welcome.

Mazda cx 7 is a very good car. I used the 2008 model for two years plus in Nigeria without developing a single fault.It has a turbo charged 4 cylinder engine which means fuel efficiency but always service the car as at when due. I do mine every 4 months. More and more ppl are beginning to find out about the car. So if but a good one, it's definitely a good buy.
