Nigerian Christians abroad meet in US
Christians in the United States and Canada have scheduled a crucial tele-meeting for February 12. The conference is being organized under the auspices of the Christian Association of Nigerian Americans. A statement made available to Irohinoodua indicated that the conference will hold between 7 and 8pm next Sunday.
The meeting has been put together for a strategic response to the situation in Nigeria and the widespread belief that Islamic extremists are bent on hijacking the age-long values of indigenous communities in Nigeria.
The tele conference will also help in organizing the group to conform with the structure of the parent body which is the Christian Association of Nigeria, (CAN). The conveners of the tele-conference are the Congress Convener, Dr Adeniyi Ojitiku and the CAN General Secretary, Dr Musa Asake.
