By all legal implications and constitutional understanding, Nigeria is presently becoming s country without a political leader. This is substantiated by the reason that the letter written by the President for leave and medical care, and for which he got the constitutional approval from the Senate has elapsed since 7th of February, 2017. The same applies to the power of the Vice President to serve Nigeria in acting capacity.
This is on the premise that the purported second letter of the President is a farce! For on no constitutional standpoint can the Senate give such approval from a letter not read before both houses of our legislature.
By this legal stance on constitutional provisions, Nigeria is today at the risk of being s country without a political leader.
Why have our noisy constitutional lawyers kept unusually quiet in the face of possible anarchy that may consume this political entity called Nigeria?
