yarimo: This is the problem with Nigeria. Poorly educated youths who cannot differenciate events. FYI, the reason Yar'adua's case generated so much fuss was because he never applied for leave or vacation and never directed the vice president to act in his capacity. He was flown out of the country in a state of emergency with an air ambulance and never had the opportunity to hand over. It created a power vacum because the president was incapacitated and there was no directive from him that the vice should act in his stead. This, meanwhile is a didlfferent ball game entirely. The president has already directed his vice to act in his stead as the acting president while he goes on his constitutional leave. Obama did the same in the US when he went on leave and his vice president acted in his stead only that nobody knew what he did during his vacation but PMB was transparent enough to tell us what he plans to do during his vacation. Learn to read wide and know the difference between cases. |
