The answer to the top one are;1 16 70 & 133.
The answer to the bottom one are 4 and 5 respectively. cheesy grin cool tongue wink

For d first one, multiply by3 and subtract 5 in each case

Some of the numbers are not clear, but going by my observation.. the way it works, for example 1, u take the first number as 14, second number as 19 and when u multiply, u get the number in the middle, meaning 14X19 to get 266. For example 2, 11X41 to get 451 in the middle.
For question 1, 22 X20 to get 440..4 should be the answer since that's what it's missing in the middle.. the last one, the figures aren't clear to me.

You consider the small circles on a row-by-row basis, and each row represents a single number. Meaning you have 3 rows in each example/question,where row 1 contains 2 circles, row 2 contains 3 circles while row 3 contains 2 circles. You multiply the resulting Number in row 1 by that in row 3 to get that in row 2 (the middle row) For example 1, row 1 has 1 and 4, so you take the number to be 14, row 3 has 1 and 9, you take it as 19. Therefore multiply 14 by 19, it gives u 266, which is the resulting number in middle row (row 2). Example 2, 11 X 41 gives 451.
Question 1, 22 X 20 gives 440, and we have 4 _ 0 there. Therefore answer is 4, the missing number. Ditto for question 2, ? X 23 = 805, ? = 805/23 = 35, and missing number there will be 5. Understood?
