A new gionee Phone dubbed Gionee A1 surfaced on the net some days ago .The launch date of the gionee A1 has now been fixed for February 27th at the MWC .

The company confirmed this through a press invite sent out recently where it said the gionee A1 along side the gionee A1 Plus will get a global launch at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in Barcelona on February 27th.

Gionee further hinted that the duo of the gionee A1 and A1 Plus will continue Gionee’s product legacy – a long-life battery, a dazzling selfie camera as well as dual rear cameras .

No further details were given about the two upcoming gionee devices ,but rumors suggested earlier that the gionee A1 will ship with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, a 5.5-inch 1080p display ,4GB RAM , 64GB ROM and a 4000mAh battery.

The gionee A1 Plus is expected to take it up a notch further , but no details were given .
