El Rufai is pissed! El Rufai is angry that the conmerative "laying of stone" epithet he was invited to flag off by the chief of Army Staff for an army barrack in the heart of southern Kaduna was vandalised by yet to be identified people. Now why should it bother El Rufai so much that the epithet was destroyed? It's not like the army barrack project in Kafanchan is a state project and his presence as guest of honour by the army was mere symbolic, so why did the vandallization "pain am" that he had to issue an official condemnation? Kaduna state has the most dense concentration of military formations and institutions so I don't see the reason why another permanent military outpost must be sited in kaduna. The lame excuse that the planned military installation is to check the bloody skirmishes between fulani herdsmen and southern christian communities is all rubbish as this is primarily the role of the police and not the military. The military should rather think of opening a permanent Base in SAMBISA and not Southern Kaduna. I can say with full authority giving El Rufai's quick condemnation of the vandalism of a symbolic epithet that the project is just another ploy to forcefully acquire land from the indeginious people, declare it a military zone, evict the owners of the land without compensation and then later abandon the project for Fulanis to roam freely. This is Nigeria where every federal land has turned to Fulani land. Recall that fulani herdsmen now roam federal owned Airports and highways without anybody checking them. The people of southern Kaduna should take El Rufai, the federal govt and Nigerian army to court compelling them to quit any elephant project they have planned out in their communities as this is just a ploy to evict them from their land and hand it to Fulani trespassers. 11 Likes 2 Shares |

Anambra state recently revoked the lease of a federal owned land which was acquired over 30yrs ago without any development on the property since the lease was issued. The Anambra state govt was very smart to revoke the lease when it got wind that the Buhari govt through the Ministry of Agriculture was planning to hand the over 200 hectares of land to Fulani herdsmen as grazing reserves. Southern Kaduna people should go to court and resist this subtle land grabbing by the Head of the Fulani militia in kaduna state. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

The plan is simple. 1. Declare the land a military zone for one phantom project that will never see the light of day; 2. Evict the original owners (without compensation) from there Fulanis can roam freely. The army is not designed for policing. Why not draft more police to the zone? Besides Kaduna has the most number of military formations, barracks and institutions in the whole Nigeria. There is also the military barrack in Bwari, Abuja bothering southern Kaduna which can see troop deployment to any part of southern kaduna within an hour! This is Nigeria where Fulani herdsmen have turned federal lands (including airports) to their grazing fields without anybody stopping them despite the nuisance and serious dangers they pose. Southern Kaduna people should head to court to stop this phantom project ! 10 Likes |

Jibril659: The question to ask is; Why is El Rufai bothered by a mere case of vandalization of a symbolic epithet? Why must he use official communication to condemn a simple act of vandalism? Is the army project even a state project? El Rufai is pissed because he knows the people who vandalised that epithet knew his plans for allocating their land to the army. This is an abandoned project in the making complete with a "military zone keep off" sign. The project is a subtle attempt to displace the southern kaduna people from their lands which will eventually be tagged a military zone without one single block erected from where Fulani herdsmen will get their grazing fields at the heart of Kafanchan! 4 Likes |

FeloniousFelon: I doubt if you wrote this trash yourself, you probably lifted it elsewhere and simply copied and pasted it here without bothering to even read the contents before hand otherwise you wouldn't have uploaded it the risk of exhibiting such embarrassing stupidity. I presume you would prefer the southern Kaduna communities to be left exposed without protection at the mercy of the herdsmen - so that you could come here and still blame El-Rufai for abandoning them (just like GEJ left the entire NE exposed at the mercy of Boko Haram). Secondly, you forgot that as governor the entire land of the state is already vested in him and could easily therefore single-handedly carve out such land for the Fulani if he so wished? The airports you mentioned including new establishments such as major towns like Abuja came and met the Fulani already grazing on the land; who were simply pushed without compensation. |

[s] ItsMeAboki:[/s] Why hasn't your Nigerian army considered building a Base in SAMBISA forest? How many military bases are in kaduna? Must you have a military Base in every corner to ensure security? Whatever happened to the police? My ab0ki, your silly rants exposes your hidden agenda. The sole problem plaguing southern Kaduna just like most places in the middle belt, parts of rural SW, SE and SS is the Fulani nuisance and nothing more. Or are we to believe that Libyans, Malians and Senegalese herdsmen sneeking through our porous borders and wrecking havoc in kaduna to which your midget of a governor paid a handsome ransome to as he claimed can only be contained by a military Base in the heart of their targets? Stop fooling yourself with your deluded foolish lies 2 Likes |
