It's quite hard to say goodbye when you know it may be the last.

This touching photo was taken at the Kaduna railway station in 1963 as the Nigerian army are about to depart for Congo as part of peace keeping mission.

Yea, but that the police not the soldiers uniform at that time, that peacekeeping also had the Nigeria police inclusive in that operation.

memorable.....back then when war is war.....(uncle Donald rest in peace) i never forgot how you used to gist us ur war experience as army officer.......back then officers go on awol when dia names are seen on d list of peace keeping missions ....only d brave dare it......it was dreaded...unlike now dt people bribe their way to partake in peace keeping..... I also sight d police man on shot..... when police was police....
