United Bank For Africa, UBA Plc has debunked rumor circulating of the Banks' call for graduate trainee programme in 2017.

The fake message has said that UBA is recruiting for fresh graduate in Nigeria for its 2017 graduate programme.

The management in a release on Sunday said: “Dear All It ha come to our notice that a broadcast message is in circulation about UBA recruiting for a scheme called the GRADUATE CONTRACT STAFF with a false email address attached to it.

“Please be informed that this is not authentic as all recruitments for UBA are done via the Bank's website”.

Everybody is denying recruitment adverts. Even the peacecorp camp is shaking. My question : the employment opportunities promised us by this government, when, where, and how are they going to come about? Its no longer funny oh.

My second question. I ask again as I have asked before. Anyone with information about how, when, and where the 2016 budget was implemented should please enlighten me because I am lost.

Public recruitment is a myth in nigeria. Lots of public and private establishment recruit covertly. Most times the recruitment advertisement comes long after the recruitment is over. Just to give the covert recruitment a shade of due process. In my experience whenever they debunk any recruitment, an actual recruitment is going on covertly.

they are not recruiting I was invited for aptitude test from the job I applied on their main website, didn't send CV to any email address...i missed the test because I was far from Lagos when the email came in.

Job advert asking people to send CV to a private mail like Gmail or yahoo mail are false and not through the company's website. It may be a scam or GNLD. That is why they will ask the receiver to rebroadcast the message to get more gullible people. To be sure and to verify the message check the company's website for confirmation.

I guess that one was advertised on their website and I have friends that went for the screening exercise....
