Read your Bible very well, and you'd see that God hates injustice and opression more than anything else. Then look at the whole world (and Nigeria in particular where religion seems to have had a free reign) you'd notice that few nations (if any) has institutionalized justice and fairness for ALL, as the United States has done for themselves and for the world at large. Does that mean they have become perfect as a nation? No. But it does mean that they are after God's own heart where it matters most - and not in some empty and ineffective religious rituals ( Is. 58 comes to mind).

Bible does talk about the blessedness of those whose sins are not counted against them. And guess what? The US is one of such. Why? Because God CHOSE to bless America and show her mercy. Why?. Beacuse while Isreal was built as God's own nation (because God loved Isreal), the United States got built as God's own nation because America loved God (in God we trust. One nation under God). And God does not forget his covenant. Why? Because even if we become unfaithful, he will remain fathful, because he cannot deny himself. He is a covenant keeping God.

And just like he had to raise for himself the PERFECT son (Jesus) to fufill his promise to David that he will always have a son to sit on the throne of Davidic dynasty as long as day and night remain, (Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me! The one who holds the key of David), God also has the power to raise for himself a man/people who would see to it that America REMAINS a nation after God's own heart. (And this may include being a nation where there's neither racial nor religious prejudices, injustices and opression).

Note, America, just like David is a nation BUILT after God's own heart. And just like God did for David, God has the power to discount the sins of America (partly to expose and humble the religious arrogance of folks like you).
