Candybob: 1. Ease of doing business is not about region or central. It is simply a process review and re-set. There can be unnecessary bureaucracies even at state level. Lagos state just streamlined and had an ease of doing business policies and process in the power sector under Fashola's regime. This was imperative when Lagos state looked inwards and saw that it's internal processes was mitigating against investors doing businesses and NOT about tribes or not in Lagos. Today, check any data, Lagos state is about the first stop for most investors.......This is what the FG is trying to do with the new policy 2. Registration of business is not about decision making at the point of registration in this context. It is about fluidity in the process, to the extent that all regulatory requirements can be sought and most likely fulfilled within the shortest possible time. Even if you have regional system, there are things that will be within the remit of the FG, as such, the target business will still need to go back to the FG. I hope you know that CAC cannot be a regional organisation, so the regional argument should not even come in 3. Decentralization is not always about oil. But making the system work more productively. Really!!! then why are you and I in argument.....you better tell that to your friend that needs the education, yet you're defending him wink2015: 1 Like |

seguno2: 1. You are not saying anything new or what we don't know about. Reality is do we have "Free" and "Compulsory" education as Law in Nigeria today? No. Until then, the govt can only work within the limit of the current laws and encourage parents to send their kids to school |
