I'm a computer science student. I know some programming languages like java, php and javascript and I want venture into android app development but would want to know how profitable it is especially here in nigeria.
Heard web development is better but I have this love for mobile apps.
Please android gurus, i will deeply appreciate if you put me through on the whole android app development business in Nigeria.

Bro u can become successful with anything if ure good at what you do. Simple, just read a lot and educate yourself.

I'll advise you to learn IOS dev. If you have a mac laptop or can afford one. I have come to discover that you are only valuable when scarce.

OK, I have heard you. Is it not better for OP to learn what will be profitable both locally and offshore. IOS devs are more paid. Do less work. Be more respected. Don't have to deal with fragmentation issues. Use a more recent language like swift. Etc

In everything you do also. Don't focus on PHP. It will get you nowhere.
