Way before I became an ardent Football Fan, this argument always generated heated conversation. The superiority of the English Premier League especially when compared with the Spanish League. So many would argue that quality of play,Officiating,Level of competitiveness and that element of surprise that keeps you on edge in every EPL game is what set it apart. In fact it's generally acknowledged that no Premier League team is a write off even at the bottom of the League Table.

It then follows that the Superior league should produce the best teams and inevitably the best players.....but we know this is Far from the truth especially in international competitions like the UEFA,Europa. Specifically UEFA; the arena of champions, where time and time again we've seen English teams consistently struggled to keep up with their Spanish counterparts who ironically seem to have it so easy to make it to the Finals of most tournaments.Case in Point is the Current UEFA Champions League 16/17 where we've seen the only surviving side Manchester City scale through and anticipating the mauling of Premier league champions Leicester City by Spanish side Sevilla FC.

Also going by the quality of players,awards and ranking the Spanish side seems to retain more Superior players,Awards and Higher ranked players parading the very best in terms of skills,and accuracy.Which really poses the question Is the the English Premier League really the best or just thriving on hype?

This has got me thinking many times, I can't still reconcile how on earth the Premier League is better than the Spanish league

EPL may not be the best league in the world but it is the most competitive league in the world

epl is just the most competitive league in the world..but truth to be told. football is in Spain and Germany

Most competitive league because they are all average teams

Spanish league is more technical while English league is More Exciting... #myopinion
