Nigerian actor cum comedian, Imeh Bishop popularly known as Okon Lagos, has employed armed policemen following his recent encounter with men of the underworld.

His wife had reported last week on social media that Okon was briefly kidnapped and stripped of all his valuables during his visit to Warri.

Okon has now taken precautionary measures by employing armed cops to be his new entourage. He made the announcement about his new set of bodyguards on social media and faced criticism from fans who were not happy about the actor revealing too much security details.

Well, it appears the actor had intentionally made the announcement to let his abductors know there wouldn’t be a second time and a warning to anyone planning to abduct him in future.

He said: ''Hitting the road for 3rd service and thanking God for life. Momentarily abducted, released but robbed clean. I'm happy I'm alive and well. I'm happy that I am happy. It's not a life I'm used to but situation has coerced me into moving with armed cops. No be posing. No be luxury. It's extremely a necessity but in all of this, God is the ultimate protector and fortress. I'm just happy and grateful. Thanks my pipo dem for ur prayers and concern, Love u.''
