That's check and balance. Governance taking an inquisitive dimension. Intellectuals with results needed, in piloting the affairs of this nation.

This bi-cameral legislature would continue to waste our resources with continuous concealing of its budget.
Must we copy the USA?

When wailing zombies are cornered, they try to save face by spewing trash.

Many of you kids can't even remember how many bills PMB refused to assent to.

You can;t even remember he refused to sign a doctored/padded budget.

The future of Nigeria can surely not be left in the hands of the largely lazy, unintelligent youths of today.

.........but it should be left in the hands of the largely sick, illiterate old men of yesterday abi
Sometimes you read some things and you just wonder...............!!!

This is a correct man that reads the content of a bill before signing it, unlike one baba that just signed padded budget without recourse to its content. I'm sure he didn't read that letter clearing Bachir Lawal before he signed it.

Long live Our president, Prof Yemi Osinbajo.

Long live our high commissioner to UK, Gen M. Buhari.

May God please guide our president to select a supportive and noble VP for himself.

sure he can't sign any bill. There are some cabals in the aso rock that will not allow him. Even they are much for him to curtail them. Every thing na still politics. So it is when sick and weak pmb come that the bill will be sign baaa. All is well.
As long as he remains Acting president, he can sign any bill passed by the NASS

Thank God for Prof's quick reading, assimilation and reaction, besides take a look at d funny bills when we have kidnappers, rapists, ritualists, corrupt politians bill of death by hanging to sign....i think as a former pastor and a true christian, he should for once correct d ills of this country for posterity sake and for Christs' sake...reject connivation with wicked politician n be fair in his true federalism and corruption fight....if he doesn't i'm sure he knows how it will be on d last day....MY OPINION.

The Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday refused to assent four bills and returned them to the NASS for correction.

Senate President Bukola Saraki read the letters today at Senate plenary.

The four bills are: Dangerous Drugs Amendment Bill 2016, National Lottery Amendment Bill 2016, Agriculture Credit Guarantee Scheme Fund 2016, and Currency Conversion Freezing Order Amendment Bill 2016.

Osinbajo gave several reasons for the rejection of assent to the bills and said the bills have been returned to the National Assembly.

Presido wielding powers... God be with you Prof.

Meanwhile I read something strange but interesting this morning, Gen Buhari was Nigeria's head of state in the 80's for 20 months (31st December 1983 to 28th August 1985 ) before he was overthrown. Now as a democratic president, he has been in power for exactly 20 months from May 29th 2015 to 19th January 2017 before proceeding on indefinite holidays. Are we sure Daura people aren't dancing on this man's destiny? lipsrsealed undecided
