It’s easy to for us to agree with one accord that these days most things are not built to last, whether it be technological gadgets, like smart phones or tablets which are manufacture to constantly require upgrades to newer software’s or be it the fragility of the same gadgets, making the cost of repairs of a damage handset costing around a third of the total gadget price. However we look at it, we come to find out that almost everything we’ve started, created or built these days ends up fighting to create a future for itself; i.e. one studies and gets good grades or a degree at college or Uni, yet one finds themselves struggling for the same job or position with someone whose half as qualified as one is, one nurtures a long time relationship with a partner into marriage, and that’s only when someone else begins to admire your spouse, and wants to destroy the relationship, with so many more examples one could give, we tend to realise in the world today, there’s an intense global competition for sustainability in all areas of our lives.

So, with all this global competition and with almost a million things seeking for our attention on a daily basis, it’s important we discover and pick our course, and secondly be determined to endure through the ups and downs of our chosen course till we reach the peak, I mean, just because one stumbles or gets smacked in the head by misfortune or adversity doesn't mean one should succumb to the pain and pressure of that knock or setback to our journey, purpose or plan.
The truth is, we don’t fail or are classed as a failure because of bad hand were dealt with in life, or by our environment or even by our upbringing, we fail or are classed as failures because of the mindset of not wanting to get back up from those knocks that hit us or deciding to prevail through our adversities.

We don't have to wait till we fall into a position of what I’ll call utter irrelevance or hopelessness before we decide to take a stand for our future, our very own future is counting on us to take a stand for it too. Stop blaming people, friends, family, the environment and all sorts, they’re all looking for someone or something to blame too. Plus, it really doesn't matter which lens we want to look at the situation through, lens of those who’ve failed or succeeded, those in adversity or who have prevailed or those living or dead, one thing remains constantly the same, what we do to ourselves causes more damage than what anything outside our control can do to us.

Never give up on the fact that you can create something that will not only last and sustain but does deserve to last and sustain too, we and only we are responsible for our own results. #OurDailyDose
