In Lagos State, the standard size of a plot is 60ft x 120ft (18m x 36m i.e. 648 sqm), while in some other cities of the country, plots are measured in 50ft x 100ft.

*ACRE*
An Acre is a standard unit of measurement used by Land sellers and it is almost equivalent to the size of a standard football field. An Acre is a product of any rectangular plot of land giving a total of:

What is LAND BANKING?

The name implies almost exactly what it is. Rather than putting cash into a savings account (where it will earn a maximum of 1% interest every year) or the stock market (which has become increasingly unpredictable in recent years), some entrepreneurs have taken an alternative approach by acquiring LAND and in doing so, they have chosen to park their cash in a tangible, fixed asset – one that cannot be broken, stolen or destroyed.

Vacant land gets ignored by most new investors because let's be honest – it just doesn't sound that exciting. Unfortunately, this causes most people to overlook a lot of the advantages that land has over traditional real estate investments (e.g. – houses, apartment buildings, commercial properties, etc.). The Lekki Free Zone is designed to be a special area in Lagos State with dynamic commerce, trade, modern industrial sectors and an eco-city for residents.

*The Elerangbe Axis:* This is mostly a residential location. Eleranigbe is off Lekki-Epe Expressway to the left, a few km (5 minutes drive) after Eleko Junction. The projects expected to open up this location is the ongoing 4th Mainland Bridge and the Lekki International Airport. It is the major road to the airport. There are a lot of proposed estates coming up there. Government has plan to tarred the road because it leads to the airport and the 4th mainland bridge will be link to the road.

*Lekki-Epe Expressway Axis:* Ibeju Lekki on the the Lekki-Epe Expressway axis starts from Abijo up to Eleranigbe. This stretch of the expressway has a mixture of residential and commercial characteristics. There are a lot of houses, big schools, business ventures such as Coscharis Group, Eleganza Industries, Pan African University, the Biggest Shoprite in Nigeria (Abijo/Sangotedo), Greenspring School, Corona School and has many built up residential estates.
