Few months ago at the famous consumer electronic show (CES), blackberry gave a sneak peak of one of the devices they would be releasing this year. Adequate info concerning this device were concealed, even down to its name was kept a secret. Rumors had it that this device would be called Blackberry mecury, but it was all wrong.
The blackberry keyone is blackberry's latest smartphone. This device continues the traditional design found on most blackberry phones from the past.
After blackberry released the DTEK50 and DTEK60 consumers thought blackberry had given up on smartphones with mechanical qwerty keys, but amongst all thoughts and leaks blackberry keyone evolves with a smartphone design that features a visible mechanical qwerty keyboard.
The blackberry keyone is built with an aluminium frame laced with black antenna bands together with a black leather covering at the back.
At the top of its aluminium frame there is a 3.5MM headphone jack and on the bottom there is a USB type-c port guarded by two speaker grilles.
Its USB type-c supports quick charge 3.0.
On the left side of the aluminium frame there is a power button, it's volume keys and a customizable convenience key just below its volume keys.
Taking a front view of this device you will find just above it's display an 8MP front shoot, it's mouth piece, an Led light and it's proximity sensor spot.
