dapsin999:
Tyres can be imported into the country as they are not contraband. But checking for their standard and quality is the sole duty of SON who re part of the joint examination done at our ports. They prefer not to partake in the examination but collect their money.
They did not chose or prefer to stay away from examination at the Port, SON is among the agencies barred from products examination within the Ports

Einl:
Nonsense.

How did it enter the country??

Wasn't it supposed to be confiscated at the border or ports?

You allowed it to enter the country and now you're making noise because you raided a warehouse.

How many have been sold??

Go and raid that.

SON is no longer at the port

Life imprisonment;
Please we need their pictures in prison. If only the court won't collect bribes from them.
These white skin people their altitudes are not as their skins.

Nigeria's judiciary are nothing to write home about, but lack of self discipline.

All tyre importers in Nigeria stuff tyres. That na standard procedure to be able to load more tyres into 1 container.

Also recently, Infinity were accused of selling fake and adulterated tyres with doctored expiration date yet they still operate in Nigeria with SON approval stamp on their brand.

Abeg free these guys jor.

'They also cloned different sizes of tyres under such brand names as Powertrac, Aptany, Harmony, Duraturn, Bearway, City Tour, Winda, Glory, Chachland, City Grand, Grandsonte (Tyre Type) and Sunny (for tricycle) among others'

Some of them may be in circulation already

So, stay clear from above tyres

And who are their distributors at Ladipo, Onitsha, Aba, Trade fair, etc ?
Be deceiving yourselves.
The Chinese neither distribute nor sell in retails. Those are the purview of Flattinos.

Criminals here & there & this are things you can't try in their country & they would be shouting Nigerians are criminals. May God punish those those who are aiding & abetting them in the land.
