I think the Nigerian educational system isn't suited for the world of today. It doesn't aid the creativity and collaboration that's required for one to thrive in the world of today. Let me explain, each child in a classroom is unique, they have different rates of assimilation, think in different ways and have different strengths. These uniqueness amongst kids should be identified and their strengths should be built upon but the Nigerian educational system doesn't do that as children are trained/thought in the same way leaving them lost. The lucky ones find their strengths and build on it, the unlucky ones don't and keep on struggling with whatever is thrown at them. If the educational system is tuned to suit each individual child's need, we would have a country full of intelligent minds in their own areas of strength. What's your own opinion?
