A friend is about to make a decision, he just got the offer for a Sales Representative in a Big FMCG in Nigeria and about to land another one in an international secondary school.

Which is better considering career prospects etc.

The salaries are almost the same .

I advice u to go for the sales, teaching is not easy, and u will be tied down on your career path unless you want to go into education which is not favourable for NIGERIAN present economy,teaching will drain you.

how on earth will a noble profession involving mentoring future leaders drain him.OP please say out of the teaching job if you have no flair for it. Children's lives are at stake

Pls i am entitled to my opinion,which children? if he want to do voluntary work ,he can go for teaching, they don't even appreciate the fact you are working for them almost free of charge! Nigeria see private school teachers as the lowest earners, no respect!

Thanks he chooses the Sales job and is enjoying it. Because he is meeting people.
