It is no longer news that a lot of people especially fans of the F.C. Barcelona are of the opinion that Manager Luis Enrique’s days as the club’s helmsman are numbered more so with the bashing the club received at the hands PSG recently in a Champions League match as well as some unconvincing performances against lower rung teams in the Spanish LaLiga matches both home and away.

However the embattled Manager at least still seem to have the backing of some of his players such as Andres Iniesta who insists that Luis Enrique enjoys unequivocal backing from Barcelona’s squad and hopes the head coach stays in charge at Camp Nou.

The loss to PSG was followed by hard-fought 2-1 win over Leganes in a match in which superstar Lionel Messi had to dig deep to save his team from serious blushes did not bring smiles to the faces of the fans, but a victory by the same scoreline – and again courtesy of a late Lionel Messi winner – at Atletico Madrid on Sunday briefly returned the defending champions to the top of LaLiga before Real Madrid’s 3-2 comeback triumph at Villarreal in the late game.
