These Creek people, they give una power in Nigeria to change the ugly mood of oil producing areas, you squandered the five years fighting one another and singing one Nigeria louder than the Hausa man.

The one Nigeria your forefathers sang to Kaduna in 1967 where they begged Hassan Katsina then governor of Northern region to beg Gowon to cut off non-Igbo areas from Biafra.

Immediately, Cross Rivers and Rivers States were created by Gowon. That grossly undermined Biafra sovereignty.

Thereafter, Arewa soldiers and businessmen colonized billions of dollars worth oil wells in the creeks, restructured Nigeria politically to the economic and political advantages of northern Nigeria.

With irreversible environmental damage done to the homelands of the creek people by oil exploitation, wealthy creek people now migrate to live in Abuja and abandon poorer creek people to their peril.

When shall this creek people get it right, instead of remaining at each others' throat and suspicion for their bigger neighbours?
