60k for an engr? After politicians, the private sector is the most wicked entity, they just take undue advantage and slaughter the labour welfare. I don't blame you guys, it is NSE I blame. I can only imagine what young engrs have to go through.

even if thats the basic salary its damn too small

What they are trying to say is that even a labourer earns higher than an engr.

Well, thats why applications are not out of compulsion. If you see it and you dont like it you could simply ignore.

This is not about growing. if they are out there to pay slave wages, then they should simply fold up. Business isnt for everyone. no one is asking for a million naira salary, paying an engr 60k indicates that your interest is to leverage on the high rate of unemployment to maximize profit at the expense of your staff. what is more insulting is that they even went on to indicate they wouldn't mind paying even an experienced engineer 60k in a city like lagos with its attendant high cost of living. Either ways at least it does speak volumes of the frangipanigroup brand.

Anyone who wishes to be in such a firms employment can only be doing so out of desperation and definitely would be constantly seeking for a reasonable income else where, moreso since your firm being a flooring firm would offer no core engineering professional development potentials for a civil engineer who is serious with his career.
