o Smoking - Researchers have stated that cigarette smoking plays a vital role in progression of rheumatoid arthritis.
o Occupation - There are various occupations which involve performing strenuous tasks like heavy weight lifting. It has been linked with the occurrence of hip and knee arthritis.
