Schooling is sweet but when the going gets tough, only the tough can think of going further. There are quite a good number of things we did, or are still doing as undergraduates in Nigeria, some of them include;

1. At the start of the semester, we all create a study schedule and a personal time table which we may end up not using. You hear things like I shall study a course per week, one chapter a day, no more fooling around etc.

2. We try to study textbooks which we abandone to study our notes later on. When the notebooks don't ring a bell, we stick to past questions.

3. When preparing for exams, we call our friends to ask them how far they've gone.

4. After wasting our time on unimportant things, we end up memorizing instead of studying.
