Coach Amodu has advised NFF to draft Keshi into the coaching crew to W/c 2010, the man said that Nigeria will benefit from his "Coaching Savvy" NFF is favorably disposed to this instead of bring in a foreign coach which presidential task force on W/C wants.
In 2002 , the duo qualified Nigeria for W/C, but the minister of sports then sacked them, the nemesis is still hunting Nigeria till now.
Some Nigerians are still calling for a foreign coach to come in and sack Amodu. This will be total injustice to this man when his results speak for him.
Among all the 32 coaches coming for the W/c , only 8 of them did not lose any qualifying match, Amodu is one of them. Some people may not like his styles of playing, but the man is getting the result for us. Even Westhanhof did not qualify Nig for W/C winning all the matches , he came to Nigeria in 1989, it was in 1993 he took Nig to WC,we lost 1990 ticket under him when Nigeria need a draw to go to Italia 90.He lost scandalously to Algeria in 1990, 5-1, though he got us silver in edition of ACN, the edition was bronze and in 1994, he got us Gold. It took him 5 solid years to build a solid team. Some Nigeria want Amodu to transform Supereagles under one year. The man has done more than any National coach living or dead, his results speaks for him. We should be proud of our own. FIFA rated the man highly.

Good! At least he's modest and is acknowledging his deficiencies. Every Coach should have a good asssistant who is more than a ball boy. Westerhof had Bonfrere, SAF has Quieroz, Siasia had Kalinka etc. The list is endless. This is a far better option than the much touted 'world class coach'.

That may be a right combination instead of bringing oyibo coach that will stay Europe and come to Nigeria 10 days to the match and go back when the match is completed. Without understanding the mentality of Nig , he can not succeed . Keshi and Amodu understand the mentality of our people. The players will respect the Big Boss.
