Ghana will from 2018 save some $250 million annually on crude oil imports to fuel its power plants across the country.

This is because the country will by then be able to substitute oil imports with Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), of which the former is comparatively expensive) after the Tema LNG import and regasification terminal is opened next year.

That is a non oil exporting black nation with good leadership, but the so called most populous black nation which prides itself as the Giant of Africa can't generate sufficient electric power even with free oil, LNG inclusive, courtesy our successive corrupt leadership.

The IB must not go unpunished.

oh! am glad the quantum power went through! it has been on the board for a while.. fueled by ingenious investors it seek to wean ghana and the west African region from the epileptic and poor business management skills on the Nigerians part.. tho the WAGP will still remain functional it will allow for a reverse flow.. i am optimistic that the akuffor addo government has what it takes to get Ghana back on track to reflect as the star of africa.

There is nothing new in Ghana that has not been proposed in Nigeria.

Some of you may remember the registrations against Gas Flaring. After that Obasanjo implemented Gas Firing Stations across Nigeria to power Electricity. Gas was not there or ready, many power stations were idled except the one in Kwara.

You can propose anything. Implementation is the key.

Kudos to Ghana, they are leaning from Big Brother's failures.

Some engineers here can educate us about details.

So what makes a big brother?

I don't blame you. We have to respect ourselves before we gain respect.

Do you know when Haiti gained Independence?
